Engling, Stritter & Partners traces its roots back to the late 1920s. Over the decades, the firm has grown through pioneering legal minds and strategic mergers, shaping it into one of Namibia’s most respected boutique law practices.

Since 1972 – The Firm Today
The story began with Mr. Bell, who later partnered with Norman Fraser to form Bell & Fraser.
Walter Engling moved to Windhoek, merging his practice, Walter Engling & Co, with Bell & Fraser.
The firm incorporated Dr. Hirsekorn & Miller, becoming Fraser, Engling & Hanekom.
Udo Stritter became a partner, leading to the new name Engling Stritter & Co.
Peter Gerd van der Merwe joined, with the firm renamed Engling, Stritter & Van der Merwe.
The practice has carried the name Engling, Stritter & Partners, a name synonymous with legal excellence and integrity in Namibia.
